A new codrura shirt from And Wander’, which recreates the work of mountaineer Naoki Ishikawa.

Ever since I started mountain climbing, I’ve read a lot more essays and travelogues from other mountaineers. Naoki Ishikawa’s book is ff course, one of them. The way he describes people, culture and nature evokes the same kind of feeling of actually climbing the mountain yourself, and I always enjoy reading his work.

A special exhibition that is re-edited from the photo book “THE VOID”, which was released in 2005 by Mr. Naoki Ishikawa and contains the primeval forest which is the sacred place of Maori, a native tribe of New Zealand, will be held at OUTDOOR GALLERY, which is jointly run by And Wander and media group “PAPERSKY”.

In commemoration of this exhibition, they will sell collaboration items printed with images from “THE VOID”. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the native forest restoration trust to support activities to protect New Zealand’s native flora and fauna and precious forests.

And Wander’s classic CORDURA typewriter shirt uses organic cotton for the warp and durable CORDURA nylon for the weft. There is a pocket in a position that do not get in the way when carrying a backpack, and a carabiner on the flap. The more you wear it, the more puckering will come out of the fabric creating a unique aging effect.

The T-shirt is made of nylon cotton blended yarn. 40% is CORDURA nylon, which has excellent durability, abrasion resistance, water absorption and quick drying properties.

This exhibition has been produced in synchronicity with Naoki Ishikawa’s work, which spreads a love of the mountains and surrounding nature. Outdoor lovers like use can also be moved by this unique expression of the outdoors.
