Established in Colorado, USA in 1979, “MOUNTAINSMITH” is a full-scale outdoor bag brand.

From 2018, it became a hot topic that the clothing line directed by Mr. Toshifumi Yamane of “F/CE.®” started, but this season the collaboration T with that “legendary band” will be released.

This time they collaborated with the legendary rock band “GRATEFUL DEAD” that drove the hippie movement.

Mountain Smith’s 20SS collection presents items inspired by retrowork, military and hippie culture reminiscent of the 70’s, and this work is a collection that pushes that theme further.

In this collection, based on the popular summer classic Pocket T, there are 2 types in the lineup that incorporates the iconic design of both.

One is a model featuring a chest pocket with “Steel Your Face” where lightning runs on the skull, and a back print with the familiar “Dead Thunder” mixed with the Mountain Smith logo.

And the other is a model that has the Grateful Dead mascot character “Dancing Bear” boldly on the front.

Both icons are printed, and the balance that complements each other’s unique style is excellent! We are also paying attention to the abundant color variations!

From the layout of the prints to the psychedelic coloring, these items have a modern interpretation of the hippie culture of the 70’s, and these items are great with outdoor styles such as at festivals!

Each will be released in mid-May.
