In commemoration of the 35th anniversary of Seiko’s first 1000m diver’s watch, a limited edition model that has been updated to professional specifications with higher functionality while maintaining the all of the original features has been released.

Seiko’s first 1000m saturated diving quartz divers watch, announced in 1986, combines the world’s first ceramic outer body protector with a one-piece titanium case to provide outstanding waterproof performance and toughness to withstand large impacts.

The “1986 Quartz Divers 35th Anniversary Limited Edition” commemorating the 35th anniversary of the birth of this model by adding more professional features. By coloring the base of the crown and the fixing screws of the outer body protector in yellow, it is possible to perform stress-free checks to maintain waterproofness during diving.

The design theme is the deep sea. The face has a blue to black gradation from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock, expressing how the light gradually disappears in the dark and mysterious world of the deep sea.

In addition to the black strap, which is the same as the case color, a blue-gray strap in the image of the deep sea is also included. Made of reinforced silicone that is highly durable and soft to the touch, it is not easily deteriorated by seawater, sweat, or ultraviolet rays, and it is a strap that is comfortable to wear not only for full-scale diving scenes but also in everyday life.

It will be released on July 9, 2021 and is limited to 1200 pieces worldwide.
