The unique collaboration realized in 2020 by the two companies, which although they are part of different scenes, has greatly excited outdoor fashion fans, and this season, the long-awaited third release is here.

Continuing from the previous time, the theme of this collaboration is “things that change, and things that do not change.” It features a lineup of unique yet familiar products that have been reconstructed by integrating their brand identities, such as the materials, functions, durability, and universality of both brands. A total of 6 items will be available, including a daypack featuring a function that allows you to freely change the combination of pouches, footwear that combines the details of leather shoes with innovative technology, and a pouch kit.

HS Wasatch ¥29700

This re-imagination of the classic daypack “Wasatch” that was a symbol of The North Face in the 1990s. Durability is updated by using a high-strength 1680D CORDURA Ballistic® nylon material. A natural color leather handle is also adopted for impressive contrast and silhouette. Pouches of the same material are attached to the bottle pockets on both sides which is a unique design for this collaboration. It also has great functionality and versatility in that it can be used as a shoulder bag by attaching the attached strap and carabiner.

HS mountain bike lumbar ¥ 19800

Like the daypack, the classic waist bag the “Mountain Bike Lumber” that is synonymous with The North Face in the 90’s. This is also made from a highly durable 1680D CORDURA Ballistic® nylon body with a natural color leather handle. An original pouch that can be used as a shoulder bag is attached to both sides. Multiple pockets are placed on the bags main body for excellent storage capacity.

The collaboration original pattern pouch “HS Pouch Kit” uses pig suede leather with a soft and supple feel that is typical of Hender Scheme, and the lightweight ripstop nylon that The North Face is known for which provides excellent breathability and cushioning. There are two styles of models that combine polyester air mesh. The shoulder tape is removable and can be used as a single pouch or as a drawstring purse. This is the same model as the one that comes with the daypack or waist bag.

Based on The North Face’s unique 3-layer VECTIV sole that transforms the energy generated during walking into forward propulsion, the material has been enhanced to the wing tip of leather shoes and is further fused with quick pull lace to create a high-tech and unique look. The platform sole, which was born from the development of trail running shoes, not only creates cushioning and propulsion, but also has a great design. The fusion with the upper, which reflects the design of contemporary leather shoes, gives you an unprecedented sense of déjà vu.

HS sleeping bag boots ¥ 39600

Next is boots with a sleeping bag-like structure that allows you to tighten the upper with a cord. Based on the Hender Scheme “schlaf boots”, the 3-layer waterproof nylon upper and Vibram® rubber outsole enhances the functionality. You can adjust it to various silhouettes by squeezing the two parts of the cuff and ankle with a stretch cord. While various materials such as waterproof nylon and suede leather, which are synonymous with each brand respectively, are incorporated into the black color palette as a design, the Hender Scheme cow leather creates a unique contrast.
