This is a collaboration between Geoff McFetridge, a world-famous artist born and raised in Canada, and DAIWA PIER39. This collaboration came about because McFetridge himself is a big fan of fishing and is also a fan of DAIWA.

For this collaboration, McFetridge’s new drawings have been added to the brand’s functional summer wear. The lineup includes shirts, shorts, T-shirts, and other accessories. With regards to Daiwa Pier39, which has been sticking to a solid color palette so far, this is the first time they have released items with pop graphics!

Also, an art exhibition will be held for two days only at the former Italian Embassy villa on the banks of Lake Chuzenji in Tochigi Prefecture, which is a sacred place for trout fishing. McFetridge will exhibit works made around the theme of “the coexistence of fish and humans”, and has succeeded in creating a space where you can experience the ideal form of “art meets fishing”.

The exhibition will be held for two days on June 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun). Those who purchase items at the exhibition will receive a peanut lure featuring Mr McFetridge’s graphics available on a first-come, first-served basis!
