The popular annual collaboration between Beams and Arc’Teryx is back! A crazy mix of and patterns and monotone colors are eye catching!
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of BEAMS a collaboration series with “ARC’TERYX” that started in 2001, has been realized. A new item has appeared as part of this popular collaboration project that attracts not only outdoor lovers but also fashionistas.
This time, the concept is “DIMENSIONS”. Inspired by the view of terrain from above, the strata and rocks visible to the human eye, and the fine sand you notice when crouching down next to trails. Nature seen from different dimensions has been blended with block colors.
Beta Jacket ¥56100
In addition to the use of crazy patterns with different color schemes for each part, it has a double zip specification that is different from the standard inline items. The balance between left and right is adjusted by putting together the parts with the logo embroidered in black.
Mantis 26 Backpack ¥22000
The logo is embroidered in gold, and the zipper is in black, gray, or khaki. This clean color scheme based on white accentuates the colors of the details. The drawbridge method of opening allows easy access to the large main compartment.
Mantis 2 Waistpack ¥6600
Next up is a waist bag with the same coloring as the Beta Jacket that can be used to store your essential items in a minimalist way. The stash pocket is easy to put your things in and take them out and the security pocket with a zipper allows you to subdivide the contents even though it is small.
Mantis 1 Waistpack ¥6050
The Mantis 1 is a 1.5L volume waist bag that is slightly smaller than the Mantis 2. By arranging the zipper on the front in gray, it has a soft and muted look.
These collaboration models, which have been in development for over 20 years, will be available overseas this season. They will also be sold at 11 Arc’Teryx branded stores in the US, UK, Canada and China.
In Japan, they are accepting reservations for items that are only available at BEAMS. This annual collaboration project, which has entered a new phase, is expected to sell out in the blink of an eye, so make sure to check it out as soon as possible.
