CAL O LINE & GORDON MILLER releases a new rigid denim setup.

“GORDON MILLER” is based around the idea of a lifestyle that extends from beyond the garage. They have announced a collaboration lineup with Cal O Line, who will also be familiar to GO OUT readers, to create a unique interpretation of the fashion that colored the culture of the golden age of America and the counterculture that was born in search of freedom thereafter.

The collaboration is called CAL O LINE DENIM, and 2 special models using rigid denim will be released in limited quantities from early September.

A jacket reminiscent of the good old days

First of all, the classic engineer jacket from the 60’s has been modified to look more modern and they have succeeded in creating a model that represents Cal O Line, but finished with rigid denim. It has a loose width and a short silhouette, and the collarless, open neck design makes it similar to a light outerwear that can be worn like a cardigan.

In addition, triple stitching is used for the seams, and the original buttons used help to increase the vintage feel.

Wide pants with excellent details

This is also a special order model of the BARREL PAINTER PANTS, a hybrid wide pants that combines the details of Cal O Line’s classic painter pants and 5-pocket denim. These denim pants feature a unique silhouette with a draping form due to the use of gussets on the crotch and unique stitching.

The back style features a large back pocket like painter pants and a back cinch that can be adjusted with a button. These small details help to add a great accent and give the pants a feeling of outstanding craftmanship.

These two models are designed to be larger than normal, assuming that they will shrink when washed, so you can enjoy the unique aging of denim without any worry. You can picture how these will age with you over the years, making them a great item for people who like to get the most out of their clothing.
