A collaboration between the long-established American shoe brand “Danner” and “SOTO”, which covers everything from firearms to bonfires and cooking utensils, has been realized! Based on Danner’s side gore boots, they have been modified to have an outdoor taste for this collaboration.

Side gores without shoe laces were a formal item in the old days, and in the mid-90s, they were also used as work boots, and by bikers, and fishermen. The plain design and functionality makes them easy to take off and put on even with gloves so they are also very useful for camping!

The upper is uses beige suede to give them a more casual and less work like appearance, and the elastic (rubber cloth) and heel loop are dark brown to create a nice balance of color.

The casual stitch-down outsole uses Vibram Evaflex. You can get a lot of wear from the sole and they are also very easy to walk in. Of course, you can also replace the sole once it has worn out.

The leather loop on the heel is engraved with the SOTO logo as proof of collaboration!

Great as simple slip-ons and mock shoes, the “Danner KALAMA SIDEGORE SOTO” is perfect for outdoor styling and camping scenes.

In addition, as part of this collaboration, a set of SOTO’s gas torch, stove, lantern, etc. and an original leather case are also available so make sure to check them out!

The photo shows a set of the candle-style gas lantern “HINOTO”, a leather storage case and a cover for the filling tank (¥13,200).
