The long-established outdoor wear manufacturer “Columbia” continues to evolve their independently developed water-repellent and waterproof omni-shield. In addition to its high waterproof performance and quick-drying properties, it also shuts out pebbles and dust, so it is used not only for outerwear but also for items such as bags and shoes.

EASTSIDE TRAINER    ¥10450

The “EASTSIDE TRAINER”, which was added to the lineup this spring, is a sneaker that uses the omnishield to help repel water as well as dirt.

The lineup includes colors inspired by Japan, such as 456 (Blue Dusk), which is inspired by traditional Aizen dyeing, and 019 (Cool Grey), which looks like a group of buildings that is reminiscent of Tokyo. Thanks to the use of omnishield you can wear these over time without the color being ruined by dirt and stains.

Among them, 823 (Solar), which is inspired by the rising sun of Japan, and 441 (Mountain), which is a shade that expresses the color of the sunset of Mt. Fuji, have a natural finish that is perfect for outdoor activities.

How about wearing an item that uses omni-shield to protect the color from dirt while dashing through the streets and outdoors?
