Tokyo-based clothing brand nonnative develops ‘real’ clothes with an emphasis on functionality. New Balance has been developing various trail shoes for over 40 years and collaboration model “FRESH FOAM HIERRO M” that combines the sense and technology of these two brands is set to be released!

While following the innovative functions and design, this collaboration is studded with the essence unique to Nonnative. Based on the original coloring that is somewhere between beige and gray named “WARM GRAY”, and by changing the side where the N mark usually enters the NB mark, it leaves an impression that is different to a standard pair of New Balance.

The upper is made of “GORE-TEX®”, which boasts breathability, wind resistance, and waterproof durability. In addition to the name on the heel, the logo is boldly placed on the inside side of the shoe.

By using “TOE PROTECT” that helps protect the toe, they have created a shoe that corresponds to various road surface situations.

The midsole uses “Fresh Foam X”, which has an asymmetrical uneven shape to improve stability and shock absorption, and also has excellent flexibility due to the large and small honeycomb structures.

By combining this with an outsole equipped with “Mega Grip” made by “Vibram®” that ensures durability and grip, it demonstrates outstanding traction even on rough roads.

This collaboration pair of shoes is equipped with various technologies that can withstand tough environments. It can be said that it is a hybrid pair of trail sneakers that are just at home in the city as in the mountains, with exclusive specifications in every small detail.
