VAINL ARCHIVE has been developing minimalistic and edgy products with “unlikely things” as their inspiration.

In addition to their in-house lines, the brand, which has a reputation for creating collaboration items with famous brands such as Reebok, Marmot, and Vans, has realized their first collaboration with the British outdoor shoe brand Inov-8 this season! A pair of high-spec sneakers that are a staple item of Inov-8 are updated to a more urban look.

The Vainl Archive led by the famous designer Mr. Ohkita, who also directs Reebok Eighty One, worked on Inov-8’s innovative sneaker the “ROCLITE G 315 GT X” which won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2010 for the outsole called “Graphene”.

This is a sporty masterpiece that can be also used as a trail & trekking shoe thanks to both the grip and durability achieved by adopting the Graphene outsole, which is 200 times stronger than iron but remains flexible and lightweight. The black and olive colors used are the main colors, and are often used by Vainl Archive and emerald is added to create an urban coloring that blends well with the city scene.

Also, in addition to the model name, the brand name is also etched as proof of the collaboration.

As you can see on side tag, the upper is Gore-Tex, so the functionality is exceptional and it is also useful on rainy days.

This collaboration model is finished with minimal and stylish coloring while retaining the sporty and high-spec look. The design is very synonymous with Vainl Archive in that it can seamlessly blends into any style or scene.

It is scheduled to be released at VAINL ARCHIVE dealers and SALT AND PEPPER from April 23, 2021 (Friday).
