The wave of “Japanese-style camp” where you can enjoy the aesthetic sense of Japanese art outdoors has arrived!? When you think of a standard drink in a camp in the cold season, warm hot coffee comes to mind first, but you can also enjoy hot tea outdoors.

Introducing a novel item that allows you to experience authentic “tea” outdoors!

Japan’s leading outdoor brand Snow Peak, Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, which manufactures products based on Japanese crafts, and the tea ceremony brand Tea Theory (Saron). This limited-edition outdoor tea set set is born through a triple collaboration of these three brands that develop products that make use of Japanese tradition.

Nodate set ¥25300

“Nodate” (outdoor tea ceremony) is a culture that was born from the fact that the former Sengoku daimyo enjoyed a tea ceremony when playing in the field or hunting, and it is truly a pioneer of outdoor activities and tea. This Nodate set is a modern update of such traditional tea ceremony tools.

In addition to the double-structured chawan made of titanium, the hand-woven linen fabric of Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten and the Snow Peak tent fabric and metal fittings are combined to create a natural chakin. A special package of 6 items: a foldable “chashaku” made from materials, a mini size “chasen” of about 7 cm, “natsume”, and “chakin”.

The “tea bowl” has excellent heat retention and is a high-spec specification that does not easily cool even outdoors.

The set is now available in three different colors for the cover. Each color is limited to each brand, including Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten’s limited color “Ruri”, tea theory limited color “Kodaimurasaki”, and Snow Peak limited color “Miruai”. The photo is “Ruri”, which is limited to Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten.

Also included is “Nodate Guidance Material” supervised by tea master Muneshin Kimura, who is the brand director of tea theory. Since the method is explained in the illustration, it is easy to understand even for those who are new to tea making.

You can enjoy relaxing tea alone in nature, or you can enjoy a tea party with your friends in a tatami mat style room!

In fact, in 2016, a limited number of Nodate sets by Snow Peak and Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten were released, and they were sold out immediately. This set is also expected to be quite popular, so if you want it, check out each brand as soon as possible! The release is scheduled for November 2nd.
