Nodate is a tea ceremony where you can enjoy tea and Japanese matcha outdoors. The large-scale tea ceremony “Kitano Ochayu”, which started in the Muromachi period and was held by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the precincts of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto and was attended by 800 people, is especially famous. Nodate, which is a tradition enjoyed by Japanese people since long ago, has been updated to the modern day. This “Nodate set” is a collection of 8 tough and compact items that you can easily use and enjoy outdoors.

In this second set, the materials and specifications of the chasen (bamboo tea whisk), chasen cylinder, and tea set have been updated. The design features a beautiful appearance that is more compact and has condensed functions compared to previously.

The chashaku that is used to scoop the matcha poweder and the chasen that mixes the tea are compact designs specially made by Nara craftsmen so that they all fit in the bowl.

The chasen tube that holds the chasen is made of an elegant walnut wood. The confectionery plate is made of natural wood and maple and is designed in a shape that resembles a snowy peak.

The bowl is made of light and durable titanium and has a double wall that helps keep the tea hot. The cover that wraps the bowl features a new motif of Snow Peak’s multi-container series, and a durable cotton canvas that is often used for outdoor equipment is used, so Snow Peak fans will also see many things they like with this tea set.

In addition to the single set for one person, this time the lineup also consists of a double set that contains two cups and two confectionery bowls. It’s fun to enjoy alone, but it seems that enjoying the tea ceremony with another person brings a whole new level of joy.
